WordPress MCP Adapter 0.6: Public Abilities On By Default

The WordPress MCP Adapter 0.6 line flips the default so abilities marked public are served over MCP, drops the standalone Abilities API plugin, and requires WordPress 6.9. Then 0.6.1 repairs a release ZIP that could fatal on a web request.

WebMCP WordPress Playground: Abilities as Browser Tools

Playground now supports WebMCP, the draft browser API that lets an AI agent call actions as tools. Registering an ability is not enough: a plugin has to wrap it in a WebMCP tool, and a proxy carries calls through the nested iframe.
